| The study chair briefly shares the key findings from the committee’s first report and discusses step changes in commercial aviation safety, which will serve as a group exercise for examining safety cases to allow for those safety changes in the National Airspace System (NAS). | |
| 10:05–11:55 | Facilitated breakout group discussions on safety cases |
| Aerospace Corp facilitates small group discussions on the reasonable safety cases for allowing such new step changes into the NAS. |
