Supporting Family Caregivers in STEMM National Symposium

In progress

Caregiving is a universal experience, whether providing care for children or aging relatives or receiving care when ailing, everyone at some point will be touched by caregiving. On November 20th, the Committee on Women in Science, Engineering, and Medicine will hold a sympoiusm examining best practices and innovative solutions to support family caregivers in academic STEMM. Building on the 2024 National Academies report, Supporting Family Caregivers in STEMM: A Call to Action, presenters will share actionable policies, practices, and strategies they and others have implemented to support caregivers.
