On February 5, 2015, the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine's Roundtable on Population Health Improvement hosted a workshop that explores the relationship between public health and health care in different contexts and with an examination of opportunities, challenges, and practical lessons.
This workshop was hosted in partnership with the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials (ASTHO) - Supported Primary Care and Public Health Collaborative, which was organized in response to the 2012 Institute of Medicine report Primary Care and Public Health: Exploring Integration to Improve Population Health.
