The Forum on Traumatic Brain Injury will convene a workshop to explore what is needed to better serve adults who are diagnosed with a mild TBI, including such issues as when and how to follow up with patients after discharge from an emergency department, and the varied needs, issues, and considerations that relate to outpatient care and at-home symptom management during the approximately 6 months after injury (the post-acute period).
