The concept of cancer engineering involves the application of engineering principles to solve challenges across cancer research and cancer care. This multidisciplinary approach brings together the fields of biology, engineering, and health care to devise innovative solutions to promote the delivery of high-quality cancer care. This workshop considered opportunities to improve patient outcomes through the convergence of engineering with oncology research, practice, and policy.
