On November 9 and 10, 2020, The National Cancer Policy Forum hosted a public workshop to examine short- and long-term toxicities and adverse effects that patients may experience as a result of cancer treatment and to consider strategies to improve quality of life for cancer survivors and their families. The workshop featured invited presentations and panel discussions on topics that included strategies to better accrue data on effects of cancer and treatment, opportunities to redesign treatment to reduce toxicities, and patient engagement.
