As the state of practice for travel surveys rapidly evolves and response rates continue to decline, researchers must often consider multimethod sampling to obtain responses from hard-to-reach populations. TRB hosted a webinar on Thursday, April 4, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM Eastern that discussed the use of multimethod sample for travel surveys, including recruitment via community outreach, panels, and regional organizations or agencies to better reach populations of importance and increase representation. Presenters examined the decision-making process during the initial sample design phase and considerations for weighting data from multiple sources.
