Our collective conception and approach to resilient freight planning is being altered by increased frequency of events. TRB hosted a webinar on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM Eastern that explored the unique recovery challenges in Ukraine during the Russian invasion and Puerto Rico in the aftermath of hurricanes Maria and Fiona and how they can inform the planning of resilient supply chains both nationally and internationally. Presenters shared current adaptation strategies, terminology and strategies used in freight resiliency planning, and the continuing needs of Ukraine and Puerto Rico.
