Pavement resilience is an increasing critical consideration for highway and transportation engineers. Extreme weather events require that pavement design, preservation, and maintenance all incorporate resilience. TRB hosted a webinar on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM Eastern that brought together stakeholders to discuss and identify strategies. Presenters highlighted climate stressors, share their experiences, and identify gaps and needs. Presenters are from state departments of transportation (DOT) that have participated in a recent pilot study, incorporating climate risks into their Transportation Asset Management Plans.

This webinar is a follow up to the TRB Workshop: Progress Toward Resilient Pavement at the 2022 Annual Meeting and the TRB Webinar: Progress Toward Resilient Pavement held on November 9, 2021.
