Workshop Series Agenda

Tuesday, June 22, 2021, 12:00–6:00 pm Eastern
Thursday, June 24, 2021, 11:00 am–6:00 pm Eastern

Virtual Format

This workshop series provides a forum for invited representatives from science programs to share practices related to how they plan and evaluate their program design, their products, and their impact. This series will be informative to a report by a committee of the National Academies related to the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management’s (BOEM’s) aspiration to achieve “first-in-class” status for its environmental program. Invited speakers include representatives from BOEM’s peer agency programs—programs that produce management-oriented (use-inspired), applied science that is designed to inform the environmental decision-making processes—as well as representatives from discovery science programs and other informative cases.
