TRB Webinar: Demonstrated Performance of Buried Bridges

October 31, 2023

11:00 AM - 12:30 PM (EDT)

Past

Buried bridges, a relatively new and inexpensive form of highway bridge, have demonstrated good long-term performance. The efficiency and affordability make buried bridges a good alternative to traditional beam bridges. TRB hosted a webinar on Tuesday, October 31, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM Eastern that explored successful case studies showcasing the exceptional performance of concrete and steel buried bridges, supported by multi-year measurements.

This webinar was sponsored by TRB’s Standing Technical Committee on Culverts, Buried Bridges and Soil Structure Interaction.

The slides are linked in the meeting materials. View the recorded webinar below.
