The 2021 TRB Conference on Advancing Equity featured presentations from those working on the front lines of transportation equity and justice within community-based and non-profit organizations. The participants represented a wide range of experiences and perspectives. TRB hosted a webinar on Thursday, March 9, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM Eastern that provided key insights from the conference and share the TR Circular E-C281: Advancing Transportation Equity: Conference Summary and Action Brief. Presenters also identified needed tools, policies, and practices to define, establish, and meet goals of equity within the industry. This webinar sought input and participation from attendees for the second conference planned for 2024.

This webinar is a follow on to TRB Webinar: Advancing Transportation Equity held on March 13, 2023.

The first 60 minutes of the webinar were for presentations and the final 30 minutes was reserved for audience questions.

  2. Use knowledge of tools, policies, and practices needed to make equitable transportation decisions

  3. Make decisions on actions that individuals, organizations, and institutions can take to meet research needs
