Join Cultural Programs of the National Academy of Sciences (CPNAS) and Issues in Science and Technology magazine on Thursday, April 15 at noon EDT for a conversation about the role of the arts in the revitalization of the South Bronx after the devastating fires of the 1970s and during the HIV/AIDS epidemic of the 1980s. The art collective Studio K.O.S. (Kids of Survival): Angel Abreu, Jorge Abreu, Robert Branch, and Nelson Ricardo Savinon engage in discussion with Dr. Samuel K. Roberts, Associate Professor of History, School of Arts & Sciences and Associate Professor of Sociomedical Sciences, Mailman School of Public Health, Columbia University, New York City. This is the second in a three-part series of conversations with Studio K.O.S.
