Convened by TRB, the 64th Annual Workshop on Transportation Law will be held July 13 - 16, 2025 at the Washington Marriot at Metro Center, 775 12th Street NW in Washington, D.C. Attendees will learn about recent developments in transportation law and policy. A comprehensive agenda will kick off with a panel of senior U.S. Department of Transportation officials from the modal legal offices. This panel will provide updates on the critical issues each are facing.
The workshop covers legal issues including those relating to:

  • Contracting
  • Environmental compliance
  • Tort liability
  • Risk management
  • Eminent domain
  • Transit system management
  • Human resources issues impacting transportation agencies
  • Technology
  • Legal ethics

Attorneys attending can qualify for continuing legal education credits from virtually every state bar association.
